Environmental and energy sustainability is a strong hallmark of Mas Vinyoles Natura.

Its recent remodeling in 2014 had the priority of creating a 100% sustainable environment, incorporating new technologies that guarantee responsible consumption and respect for the environment.

We are currently part of the Biosphere program. The internationally recognized tourism sustainability certification.

FACILITIES

Biomass plant

A biomass plant provides heating, hot water and air conditioning for the indoor swimming pool, through a heat network and underfloor heating.

Photovoltaic plant

Electric power is produced by a 32 kW semi-autonomous photovoltaic plant with batteries. exterior with spectacular views of the forest.

Electric vehicles

We have two semi-fast recharging points for electric vehicles.

32 kW semi-autonomous photovoltaic plant (integrated partly on the roof and partly on the parking lot pergola) with batteries and external power line reinforcement. (contributes 20% of annual consumption)

Forest clearance through silvopastoralism by a flock of sheep

Water management

We combine municipal supply, well, reservoir and rainwater harvesting for irrigation with wastewater treatment.

Agricultural management

Planting and cultivation of aromatic and medicinal herbs. Farm managed by the Sambucus social insertion cooperative.

Waste management

Separation of waste by fraction. Minimization of waste by avoiding single-use products.
